Traveling Frequency 

Musician Daniel Slabosky roams the world with electrofolk road songs, combining a caustic and indefinable guitar with raw lyrics. In “Traveling Frequency,” Slabosky steps into the matrix of the notes that comprise his songs, weaving an abstract and dreamlike tapestry of frequencies. The show offers a meditative tribal listening experience consisting of vibration beating and overtone shifts. Time after time, he returns to the fundamental – the original note in the harmony of his songs, like the journey’s vanishing point, the main road from which he breaks away and to which he returns again and again. He intertwines separation and union in a hypnotic repetition, cyclical sound worlds that anchor us to the ground, to the core of the Earth, and at the same time remove all the weight from our body. The result is an experience of release. A transcendent levitation across the boundaries of consciousness.
