Refuge

Combining the musical composition of Dunietz with the light composition of Bolotov, the show creates a dialogue between mediums and elements. This is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between the two artists, where creatures of light and darkness meet piano and accordion sounds. Through flashes of light and sonic responses, in tempos of input and output and through a tangle of spotlights, the eye and the ear speak. A piece that is a place of refuge, where waves of sound and light merge, separate, and reunite time after time.
